ABOUT CambsTREC

Hi, CambsTREC is basically me! Yvonne Duffy. I have been involved in Trec since 2002, mainly competing at first. I have been quite successful doing pairs classes with my Trec partner Claire on our coloured cobs. As Claire and my timetables often clash I often found myself without my partner, not wanting to compete as an individual or miss out on my beloved sport I then decided to help out at Trecs in any way I could. I completed the BHS and the International(fite) Judges Training and have now just completed the BHS Officials Training(td, scorer, traceur). Based in Huntingdon, Cambs. I have always had to travel some distance to compete hence I am now dedicating some time to bringing Trec to Cambs. with events starting May 08.

Look out for me at local and Trec events; the blonde[bob] Scottish lady often in purple! Come and say hello! My cob is rather distinctive too from the photos on welcome page you can see he only has a little brown on him but sports a unusual brown star as well has having white lashes on one eye. I am not always on board though: Pictured doing low branches is my sharer Bert[roberta].

Please support your local Trec by competing or helping at forthcoming events. You do not have to be a qualified judge to help as full briefing will be given.
